| This presentation will introduce the history of plasma nitrogen fixation, highlight recent technological advancements, and discuss the opportunities and challenges of emerging plasma technology for decentralised production of N-based fertilisers and fuels, including NH3 and nitrate/nitrite. At the end of this talk, we will provide an overview of the Horizon Europe DARE2X project on decentralised green ammonia production using novel sorption-enhanced plasma-catalytic power-to-X technology. |
