This presentation explores how membrane-assisted ammonia cracking can unlock efficient and scalable hydrogen production from imported green ammonia. By integrating palladium-based membranes, the process achieves higher conversion and lower operating temperatures compared to conventional systems. At the same time, a novel recycling approach for palladium membranes demonstrates that critical materials can be recovered and reused without compromising performance, improving both cost competitiveness and resource security. Together, these developments position ammonia cracking as a key enabling technology within future hydrogen value chains, bridging global supply and industrial demand.
