Energy trend reflects, ammonia emerging as a critical Hydrogen carrier in the global energy transition, efficient and scalable cracking solutions are essential to enable its widespread adoption. While ammonia cracking technologies continue to evolve, the purification of hydrogen to meet stringent end-use specifications remains a key challenge. This presentation will highlight how Honeywell UOP’s advanced Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technologies are enabling high-purity hydrogen production in ammonia cracking applications. It will explore the integration of PSA systems with NH₃ cracking processes, focusing on performance optimization, energy efficiency, and operational reliability at scale. Drawing on Honeywell UOP’s proven expertise in gas separation and purification, the session will demonstrate how PSA solutions can deliver ultra-high hydrogen recovery, reduced emissions, and improved lifecycle economics, positioning ammonia as a viable and flexible vector for low-carbon hydrogen delivery. Further, we will also deep dive into a one-Honeywell solution which will comprise of offerings from other business group of Honeywell focusing on automation, compression enabling the efficiency of the entire ecosystem.
